Credits & billing

How the unified iv_credits balance works: monthly grants, top-ups, and what credits buy.

The iv_credits balance

One balance covers everything metered: media, voiceover, conversation minutes, and above-plan LLM usage. 1 credit = $0.001. Credits are held when a job starts and settled to actual usage on completion. Every chat response reports x-iv-credits-spent and x-iv-credits-remaining headers — see the Credits API.

Monthly grants

Every paid invoice grants credits at face value of the plan price:

  • Intelliverse Air ($10/mo) — 10,000 credits/month.
  • Intelliverse Pro ($30/mo) — 30,000 credits/month.
  • Intelliverse Pro Max ($100/mo) — 100,000 credits/month.

Free accounts get a one-time 500-credit intro grant at signup, a daily trickle of 25 everyday-class credits (non-accumulating beyond 7 days), and a 4,500-credit bonus on identity verification.

Top-ups

Top up in $5 packs (5,000 credits) under Dashboard → Credits. Top-ups never expire, and buying N packs credits N × 5,000.

These rates mirror the canonical seeded credit prices the platform bills — the same numbers as /pricing.

Running out

At zero balance, metered requests return 402 credit_exhausted. Paid plans can enable metered overage with a per-app cap; when both prepaid balance and the cap are used, you get 402 overage_cap_exhausted. Details and remedies in Errors.
